HALLOWEEN HISTORY (OR TURN THE SPOOKS LOOSE)

It's became"Halloween"as a contraction of "All Hallows Eve." All Hallows Eve has proceeded "All Saints Day"  since the 8oo's, but the tradition of spirits and ghosts on the loose on October 31st goes back much further thanks to the Celts.
