THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAYS WINTER WILL BE... (TAKE A GUESS!)

Actually, the National Weather Service does have some predictions to pass along.  In general, "warmer in the west, question mark in the east." This region is in the East with equal chances of warmer, colder, and near normal temps.  And you're thinking, who needs the National Weather Service, I'll just flip a coin.  They do predict drier conditions to prevail for this winter following the draught of 2012. (not good news for snowmobilers and skiiers)

To no surprise, 2012 is likely to go down as the warmest year in the United States since the late 1800s when record keeping began. (118 years)  Check the complete story by clicking here...(or elect the Famers Almanac instead)
