Red

Oscar-winner Morgan Freeman and action superstar Bruce Willis lead an all-star cast in "Red." Freeman's character, Joe, is a retired CIA agent laying low in an assisted living facility when he's pulled back into high-throttle action by Willis' character, Frank. "Red" is rated PG-13.

Conviction

Two-time Oscar-winner Hilary Swank takes on the role of Betty Anne Waters in "Conviction." In the drama inspired by real events, Sam Rockwell plays Betty Anne's brother, Kenny, who's convicted of a murder that he claims he didn't commit. "Conviction" is rated R.

Hereafter

Filmmaker Clint Eastwood takes on the "Hereafter" in his latest film. The drama presents the stories of three individuals impacted profoundly by death. "Hereafter" is rated PG-13.

Al Pacino has signed on to star in a movie about imprisoned music producer Phil Spector. "The New York Times" reports that the Oscar-winning actor will portray the controversial figure who created the famed "Wall of Sound," and worked with stars like Tina Turner, John Lennon, and The Ronettes.

JERSEY BOYS

Get ready for a movie adaptation of the nostalgic musical "Jersey Boys," the show about the rise to fame of singer Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Valli and Four Seasons' keyboardist Bob Gaudio have signed on to the project as executive producers. "Jersey Boys" first opened on Broadway in November 2005. The show won four Tonys in 2006 -- including Best Musical.

World Series commercial spots are going fast. Fox Broadcasting has sold about 90-percent of the commercial time for the televised postseason games. Network executives say ad rates are running at 450-thousand-dollars for a 30-second spot. Chevrolet and Anheuser-Busch are among the major advertisers who have bought spots.

Actress Jennifer Aniston has been named the "Most Eligible Single Woman in the World," according to a new "60 Minutes/Vanity Fair" poll. Aniston had 29 percent of the votes to top the poll. VETERAN ACTOR TONY CURTIS HAS DIED

Tony Curtis died at his Las Vegas, Nevada home on Wednesday at age 85. People.com reports that Jamie Lee Curtis -- Tony's daughter with the late actress Janet Leigh --said "My father leaves behind a legacy of great performances in movies and in his paintings. He leaves behind children and their families who loved him."

Although best known for his starring role in "Some Like It Hot" alongside Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe, Curtis appeared in over 100 films throughout his career.
