NEW MOVIES THIS WEEKEND  (SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE)

Several new movies open in the theatre this weekend! 

 Here is a partial list:

"Admission" is a new comedy starring Tina Fey and Paul Ruud.

"Olympus Has Fallen" is a thriller with Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman.

"The Croods" is a new animated family film with our cavemen ancestors. (sort of)

And, if you haven't seen it yet, the most popular film at the moment is "Oz, The Great and Powerfull."

CAROLE KING, THE MUSICAL!

Actually, the musical telling the story of Carole King's life in the music world, is called "Beatiful, The Carole King Musical."  It's likely to open on Broadway in the spring of 2014.  Carole's story will be told using her music of course, which will include the 60's classics she had a hand in writing such as "Will You Love Me Tomorrow," "Go Away Little Girl," "Take Good Care of My Baby," and "The Loco-Motion." (among others)  And , of course, her own hits like "It's Too Late,"

IT'S BEEN AWHILE BUT JIMI HENDRIX COULD BE BACK AT THE TOP OF THE CHARTS!!

The new album of 12 previously unreleased studio recordings by the late Jimi Hendrix is expected to climb high on this week's album charts.  "People, Hell, and Angels," contains songs recorded between 1968 and 1970.  More on Hendrix's potential chart success can be found here...

"MOTOWN THE MUSICAL" HAS GREAT POTENTIAL!!

EDDIE MURPHY BRINGS "BEVERLY HILLS COP" TO THE SMALL SCREEN!

Eddie Murphy, as Axel Foley, and Judge Reinhold, who also appeared in the "Beverly Hills Cop" movie series, will help kick off the "Beverly Hill Cop" TV series by appearing in the pilot show.  The new TV series is being produced by Murphy and will air on CBS.  Here is the story...
