DICK CLARK DEAD AT 82!!

Dick Clark,legendary host of American Bandstand, his New Year's Eve show on ABC, and Dick Clark's Music Calendar, (heard on many radio stations including the Eagle,) has died at the age of 82.

Clark helped introduce acts from Buddy Holly to Madonna on American Bandstand from 1957 - 1987.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL CONDUCT A TORNADO DRILL IN WISCONSIN AND MINNESOTA, APRIL 19TH AT 1:45PM!!!

Don't be surprised at 1:45pm (on Thursday, April 19th,) by the National Weather Service Tornado drill on the Eagle, and other radio and television stations. You might think an actual Tornado Warning is taking place if you don't listen closely.

AT AGE 49, JAIME MOYER IS THE OLDEST TO EVER WIN A MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL GAME!

He won last night on the mound for the Colorado Rockies as they beat the San Diego Padres 5-3.

FREEDOM FEST 2012 FEATURES HEADLINERS THE STEVE MILLER BAND AND FOREIGNER!!

June 16th is the date for Freedom Fest in La Crosse this year with the Steve Mller Band and Foreigner. (also, the Remainders and the 451rst Army Band ) All proceeds go to programs for Veterans including scholarships. The annual motorcycle rally will take place in the morning and the grounds will open at 3pm at the UWL.
