'The Voice, The Guitar, The Songs," that's the name of the tour featuring Rod Stewart and Santana as co-headliners.  Some 18 tour dates have been announced with the closest in St.Paul at the Xcel Energy Center in August.  Click here for tour and ticket details...

THE ROLLING STONES BACK ON TOUR IN 2014!

THE BEATLES U.S. ALBUMS OUT ON CD!

The Beatles U.S.A. albums are finally all out on CD.  This can be confusing because The Beatles British albums were on CD years ago.  So what's the difference.  Well, prior to 1967's Sgt. Peppers album, the American versions of the early Beatles albums were considerably different, having different titles and covers, and different tracks.  Get all the details here...

PRESIDENT'S DAY!

Lincoln's birthday is Feb.12th, Washington's birthday is Feb.22nd, and in between we have Presidents' Day.  Is it to honor Lincoln and Washington?  Actually, the day was originally set aside to honor our first President, George Washington on his birthday.  It was moved to the third Monday of February in 1971.  Most Americans now consider it a day to honor all Presidents, past and present.  Check out these Presidential facts... Like the Summer Olympics, there have been several Winter Olympic sports that have fallen by the wayside.  Ski ballet is one I actually remember, It died in 2000.  Speed skiing, bandy, and military patrol are others that have disappeared.  Check out the attached video to see the complete story...

SHIRLEY TEMPLE HAS DIED!

Shirley Temple has died Monday night at the age of 85.  She was a top box office draw as a child star in the 30's and later, after leaving acting behind, she became a political figure and eventually a U.S. ambassador.  She said her "greatest role was as wife, mother, and grandmother."  Read her complete story here...http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=851739

RICKY NELSON REMEMBERED!!

PAUL SIMON AND STING TOUR TOGETHER!

It's an unlikely combination, but Paul Simon and Sting have become friends over the years and they are touring together.  They will perform at the Xcel Energy Center in Feb. 23rd and in Chicago at the United Center on February 25th.  Get the complete story here...

THE NIGHT THAT CHANGED AMERICA: THE BEATLES 50 YEARS AGO!

The Grammy salute to The Beatles will be this Sunday night on CBS at 7pm.  Was their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show really "The Night That Changed America?"  Well, it certainly drew a crowd, a huge crowd.  70 million people tuned in!  The majority by far of all TV viewers at the time.  Click here for more info on the Beatles anniversary tribute...

OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN HEADS FOR LAS VEGAS!!
