"THE SOUND OF MUSIC" TO BE PERFORMED LIVE ON NBC!

Julie Andrews, star of the hit movie version of the "Sound of Music,"in 1965, is delighted that the clasic musical will be brought to a new generation live on NBC.  Country singer and American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood has been chosen for the lead role of Maria.  Here is a link for the NBC press release.
