"The New York Times" reports that Morgan -- known to Americans for judging NBC's "America's Got Talent" -- is close to finalizing an agreement to take over when King leaves. The 45-year-old already hosts a talk show for CNN in the United Kingdom called "Piers Morgan Life Stories." Morgan also has a reality TV win on his resume. He was named Donald Trump's first-ever "Celebrity Apprentice" in 2008.
