EDDIE FISHER HAS DIED!

Entertainment legend Eddie Fisher has died at the age of 82. Fisher got his start singing in amateur talent competitions. By the mid-1940s, Fisher was fronting big bands and soon opted to sign with RCA Victor. As an actor, he appeared in "Bundle of Joy" and "Butterfield 8."

Fisher's five marriages included three high-profile unions. The performer was first married to actress Debbie Reynolds. Daughter Carrie Fisher was Princess Leia in the "Star Wars" films. He married Elizabeth Taylor in 1959. After that union ended in 1964, Fisher went on to marry actress and singer Connie Stevens. They had two daughters together.
