SURVEY SAYS - MORALITY ON THE SLIDE

Most Americans say morality in the country is tanking. A new Gallup poll indicates people are three-times more likely to describe the state of moral values as poor rather than excellent or even good. Only 14-percent of those polled believe morality is improving, while 76-percent said moral bankruptcy is on the rise. The most commonly cited reasons included a lack of respect for others, declining values and a lack of good parenting. Dishonest government, rising crime and moving away from religion also ranked high.
